Background
Zeoponics is the coined word made up from parts of two words: Zeolite and hydroponics. This technology is originally developed by NASA as a substitute for conventional hydroponics in 1989. After that, the technology about applying natural zeolite on soil materials was commercialized by ZeoponiX, Inc. in 1994. In 1997, the new product called “ZeoPro” made it public debut.
